About Me

My photo
J-Rod Mac
Cooking came naturally for Jarrod McManus, Sous Chef with Levy Restaurants at EverBank Field. With his upbringing in the South, it was inevitable that he spend time in the kitchen with the family learning from a young age. Using this solid background and a formal education from Le Cordon Bleu, he has developed a unique style fusing soul food into a modern presentation while still focusing on local and sustainable product. Jarrod started working at La Cita Country Club, the number one country club in the Space Coast, Cape Canaveral area before coming on staff at Levy Restaurants Sports & Entertainment Group in August of 2006. In 2010 he began overseeing the Terrace Suite, Touchdown Clubs, Bud Light Party Zone, Sky Patio & Team Dining. Jarrod has also been involved in making food for some high profile guests during his time with Levy, Senator Sarah Palin, President Barack Obama, President George W Bush, Arthur Blank, & Bruton Smith, amongst others. During this tenure, Jarrod has also had the opportunity to travel and do some cooking outside the stadium, in places such as Quail Hollow, Dallas Market Center, Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, as well as several NASCAR races.
